I want to build a productivity app for freelancers called "Solo."
BRIEF:
Solo is a new productivity app built specifically for freelancers and independent professionals.
Unlike traditional project-management tools designed for large teams, Solo is designed around the reality of freelance work: juggling multiple clients, deadlines, invoices, proposals, meetings, admin, and creative work, often all at the same time.
Solo brings the essential parts of running a freelance business into one simple workspace.
The product is preparing for launch and needs a cohesive marketing campaign that introduces Solo to freelancers, communicates its value clearly, and drives sign-ups for the launch waitlist.
DEADLINE: 5 months from today
DELIVERABLES:
* Product app mockup
* Introduction to brand presentation
* One poster to advertise the brand
* A project management interface to keep track of all the tasks
WORKFLOW:
Analyze the files and execute each task relevant to the listed connectors:
* Asana: project management. Create a new project labelled "Solo" and list the tasks in the project with clear due dates and descriptions
* Canva: use the client brief and brand guidelines to design one poster for advertisement
* Figma: use the client brief and brand guidelines to design a 3-page app interface for the productivity app. Only include a sign-up page, a splash screen, and the user profile page (name, project lists, and profile picture)
* Gamma: use the files to generate a 6-page presentation to introduce the brand
RULES:
* Use only the uploaded files to generate the outputs
* Ensure brand consistency across all connectors and outputs
* Ask me any questions to fill in document gaps before starting

File 1: Client Brief
# Client Brief — Solo Launch Campaign
**Client:** Solo Labs Inc.
**Project:** Launch campaign for "Solo" — an all-in-one productivity app for freelancers
## Background
Freelancers currently juggle invoicing, time tracking, client communication, and task management across 4–6 disconnected tools. Solo unifies these into a single app.
## Objective
Drive **50,000 app downloads** in the first 30 days post-launch and establish Solo as the go-to all-in-one tool for freelancers.
## Target Audience
Freelance creatives, consultants, and solopreneurs — ages 25–40, urban/remote-based, tech-savvy, currently stitching together tools like Trello, Excel, and email.
## Key Message
> "Your whole freelance business, in one app."
## Tone
Confident, empowering, no-nonsense. Speaks to freelancers like a peer, not a productivity guru.
## Budget
$45,000 (creative production + paid media)
## Success Metrics
- App downloads (30-day target: 50,000)
- App Store / Play Store rating (target: 4.5+)
- Social engagement rate
- Waitlist-to-signup conversion
File 2: Brand Guidelines
# Brand Guidelines — Solo
## Logo
- Lowercase wordmark: "solo"
- Rounded sans-serif, custom-modified
- Do not use the tagline lockup below 120px width
- Never stretch, rotate, or add drop shadows to the logo
## Color Palette
| Role | Color | Hex |
|---|---|---|
| Primary | Indigo | #4F46E5 |
| Secondary | Coral | #FF6B6B |
| Neutral (dark) | Charcoal | #1F2933 |
| Neutral (light) | Off-white | #FAFAFA |
## Typography
- **Headlines:** Inter Bold (or Söhne where licensed)
- **Body:** Inter Regular
- Sentence case for headlines — no ALL CAPS except small UI labels
## Voice & Tone
- Warm but efficient — talks like a smart friend, not a corporate brand
- Second person ("you," "your business")
- Short sentences. Occasional dry humor is welcome.
- Avoid jargon: no "synergy," "leverage," "empower your workflow"
## Imagery
- Real freelancers in real workspaces — cafes, home offices, co-working spaces
- Natural light, candid framing, no stiff stock-photo posing
- Avoid generic laptop-on-a-beach clichés
## Don'ts
- Don't pair coral text on busy/photographic backgrounds (contrast issues)
- Don't use the logo on anything but Off-white or Charcoal backgrounds
- Don't introduce new accent colors without design sign-off
File 3: Existing Design notes
# Existing Design — Solo
Solo already has a functioning product. In-app screens (Dashboard, Invoicing, Time Tracker) are built and follow the current brand system.
## What already exists
- Fully designed in-app UI: card-based layout, generous white space, indigo (#4F46E5) accents on Off-white (#FAFAFA)
- Clean iconography, rounded corners, minimal shadows
- A basic waitlist landing page (pre-rebrand — does NOT reflect current brand guidelines)
## What's outdated / needs work
- App Store & Play Store screenshots still use the **old logo and old color palette** (pre-rebrand teal/navy scheme) — must be refreshed to current brand
- No real marketing landing page yet — only the waitlist placeholder
- No social media asset templates exist yet
## Implication for this project
Campaign assets should visually match the **in-app UI** (indigo/coral/charcoal system) since that's the freshest, most on-brand reference point — not the outdated waitlist page or app store listing.
