Print Size Calculator
Calculate pixel dimensions for print projects. Convert between DPI settings, paper sizes, and resolution. Essential tool for print designers.
Frequently asked questions
How does this calculator find my print size?
It divides your image's pixel width and height by your chosen DPI to give the largest physical size that prints sharply, and flags when a size would look soft.
What DPI should I print at?
300 DPI is the standard for photos and detailed prints. Posters and banners viewed from further away can print fine at 150 DPI or lower.
My photo prints blurry, why?
The image likely does not have enough pixels for the size at your chosen DPI. Print smaller, lower the DPI, or start from a higher-resolution image.
Can I enlarge a small image?
Upscaling adds pixels by guessing, so it cannot recover lost detail. This tool shows the size your existing pixels support at print quality before any upscaling.
